This is one of the new lights mentioned in the introduction to the Norway page.  I'm not certain whether or not this one was actually in operation when this picture was taken.  However, the presence of the construction vessel on-site would tend to indicate, I think, that work was still in progress.  As at 13 Mar 11 I have been totally unable to discover the identity of the ship but my guess would be that she is a converted small ferry of which there are many around Norway.
