Well, had I known that this was a lightouse and, had I had any say whatsoever in the choice of viewpoint, the tower crane certainly wouldn't have been in the shot.  This was the first, but not the last, time that I mistook a tall rear range light for a factory chimney and hence totally ignored it.  The light is not actually in Zeebrugge itself, but in the suburb of Heist a short distance to the north.  The front light of the range pair is located on a mole in Zeebrugge harbour but I didn't see any evidence of that one at all.
