The light on the North Mole has an identical twin on the South Mole, but the south mole is a very great deal longer extending all the way from the Trekroner Fort to the south side of the harbour entrance, a distance of about half a kilometer.  This light is identical in design and construction to that on the North Mole but is painted red and displays a red light.
